Using the iPhone app.
The app keeps your information on your phone. It connects only to your own dialysis unit, and only after you pair it.
- Pair with your unit
- At your chair, staff show a code on their screen. In the app, tap Pair with my unit and scan it. If you’re away from the chair, staff can read you a short code by phone.
- Try the demo
- Tap Try the demo to explore the app with made-up information. Nothing in the demo reaches a real clinic.
- Unpair or erase
- In Settings, tap Unpair this phone to disconnect from your unit, or Erase everything to remove all of your information from the phone.
- Need help now
- One tap from any screen, even when the app is locked, offers 988, 911 and your care team.
What Transplant Check can’t do.
Transplant Check is educational. It doesn’t decide transplant eligibility, check waiting-list records, recommend a center or replace your care team.
Ask your care team or the transplant program about your own situation.
